A Thank You

Since appearing on GB News at the weekend the response has been amazing. The emails I have received and personal stories, as well as the overall interest in Unlimited Courage is just fantastic.

I thank everyone who has messaged and signed up as a result of the interview.

I have of course and as expected, also received criticism over my stance on men which will no doubt intensify as the message rapidly expands across the U.K. and beyond.

It is clear that I am expecting more of men at Unlimited Courage and in doing so, I have to expect more of myself.

I have no real interest in men simply being able to cope, feel better or have found a way to fit neatly into society.

No, I’m encouraging and pointing towards transforming society, making a massive impact and changing the trend from encouraging male fragility and harmlessness, towards an incorruptible force of courage that will forge the future for everyone within it.

We have been playing a small game up until now about the individual man’s needs, instead of the large and most important one of societal change, which Dostoyevsky described when he wrote:

“Not only is every man responsible for everything he does but for everything everyone else does.”

The Courage code is the portal to a mans power and potential, not just for himself but for everyone else around him.

The man who embraces every aspect of his masculinity and a code of courage, is far more likely to achieve his own personal ambitions than one who doesn’t.

It’s exciting that men have the power to create not only their own future but the future of the world.

Each man holds within him the capacity for darkness and light, the monster and the saint. The denial of the monster is to reject aspects of oneself that make a true expression of courage and compassion nothing more than a charade that is eventfully exposed.

Virtue signalling and self honouring are seen all over the world now and we have normalised an incongruent behaviour of speech and actions. It’s no wonder so many men feel tribe-less, uninspired and disconnected.

As men, we are looking for something reliable, immovable and true,  that speaks to the highest self we can attain.

Imagine a world where men forged the world as a force for good and created a generation that embodied courage as the primary aim of life. One that the political class had no choice but to embody and represent, instead of control.

This is the world I am imagining and as men, this is achieved through each and every one of us who not only want to expand into the highest potential we have but lead through example to create a better world.

From The Feet To The Hands - Barefoot Trainers

I’ve recently tried the relatively new barefoot trainer company PureStep and was pleasantly surprised at how robust they are. Having previously tested Merrells, Vivobarefoots, and others, I wasnt sure how the super light and slipper like footwear of PureStep, would hold up, because when I test a shoe, it really gets tested.

I’m not sponsored by PureStep, in case anyone was wondering but I highly recommend them based on my own personal experience. They were also the best on price and have been extremely durable and are incredibly comfortable.

For anyone that’s not aware of the benefits of barefoot style trainers, they allow your feet to move and flex in a way they were evolved too. You can expect a strengthening of ligaments and tendons and stronger ankles and knees.

This is why boxing boots are flat to the ground, so the fighter can learn to move efficiently and use the ground to deliver power. Chinese Tai Chi slippers are also flat so the person develops a sensitivity to the ground and the absorbing, rebounding forces can be developed.

At Unlimited Courage we recommend any gym work be performed in bare feet or barefoot style footwear for this reason so a man’s power is built from the feet up.

I've also mentioned in the audio - Courage & The High Performance Life, a man should aim at moving, standing and presenting himself as a master. Barefoot trainers certainly play their part in developing natural movement and integrating the entire body to move in a natural way.

Misogi; Physical Repetition

Many guys are curious about the Misogi aspect of the physical part of our courses. As I’ve mentioned previously, it is the most rewarding practise I have ever pursued.

This leads on perfectly from focusing on the feet to the hands.

Misogi is a Japanese concept of spiritual and physical cleansing through repetition and I will discuss this further in the near future as to why this can awaken the suppressed parts of a man’s psyche like nothing else.

In the meantime, this is a video on the subject from our YouTube channel.
